Apple Butter

Apple Butter isn’t for everyone, but it’s one of my favorites.  Here’s a simple to make Apple Butter recipe and it yields 2 half pint jars.
8 cups applesauce12 tsp. cloves½ tsp. allspice2 cups brown sugar½ tsp. cinnamonGrated rind of one lemon
